Shippenville Borough Check Acceptance Policy
1. Checks must indicate: (1) Current, local address in Pennsylvania (2) Phone number a. If a former address or only a name appears on the check, the above information must be hand written on the check. 2. Temporary "starter" or counter checks are not acceptable. 3. Checks must be made payable to: Borough of Shippenville 4. Checks must be dated with the current date, post-dated checks will not be accepted 5. Checks will not be accepted from anyone who has had a check returned two times in a 12 month period. A list is maintained and checks will not accepted from names that appear on this list.
